This report led by Lankelly Chase, an English charity that has a focus on young people in the criminal justice system provides us with more evidence on the connection between poverty, multi-layered disadvantage and trauma in repeat offenders. The YWA acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
